It’s a cluster now in and around Little Rock. I-40 east to Memphis is shut down.

Storm total of 11 inches in Wichita Falls. Won't be above freezing until Friday. Melting should commence in earnest over the weekend. Will have 7 consecutive days below freezing when all said and done

Its raining now in Shreveport. I have about 1/8" of ice on my trees. Hopefully the rain started too late and it moves back to sleet/snow this evening tonight. We don't need more ice.

Ice dams on roofs SUCK. My youngest comes bebopping in my office. "Dad, there is water pouring out of the ceiling in the laundryroom"

He aint never lied. An hour and a half later, with hair dryers under the deck trying to thaw out the ice, tearing the gutters down to not push water under drip edge, scraping at the ice with a shovel on a 8 foot ladder in pouring rain to get to shingles in some places. Came in and tore about 1/2 the sheetrock out on wash room ceiling. Cleaned up. Got it down to a slow drip directly into a bucket.....Good God that sucked.

Did I mention it was thundering and 31 degrees?

I have two giant piles of ice I creases on my roof with no way to get to them. My gutters are flowing, so I am hoping there's no ice damn in either one.

Another damn blizzard started here just 75 miles west of you. You might get some of this snow in a bit.

Not a drip I have never been so happy to be be needing a washroom redone. For a bit there I was thinking I was going to have a negative impact on four different rooms in the house.

We've made it to 31. We've got an hour an a half to make the melting point. Let's see if we keep the below freezing streak going.

temps are going back down and the precip hasn't pushed through yet? where's this warm front that was supposed to get us in the 40s? Right now we're hanging around 34 in BR and it's been creeping down since 3pm

They have updated the snowfall amount. Between here, down to pine bluff and back up to I-40, they are now saying 8-12 inches.
I bet we are pushing towards 20 inches here at the house between the two days of snow fall.
