When is the last time central Texas saw single digits high temps in their forecast?

Why does Ellick not have a NWS office? The middle part of the state is split between Shreveport, Monroe and LC.

He will deliver and stack for a fee too but it will be quality, quick work for my oldest boy and I to take care of.

Early evening models are in, and the short version is that it looks like we will see some light ice accumulations Sunday, then a major ice storm Monday. 1/2 to 1 inch of freezing rain and sleet is likely, with temperatures well below freezing. I’ll post a full, parish by parish update in the morning, but this looks increasingly like a high impact ice storm on Monday. We will hit the Wednesday threat later, but for now, it’s all about Sunday, and especially Monday. Im sleeping in tomorrow, so no clue when the update will be, but it’ll happen before I eat lunch if that helps.

Any preps I should do in Baton Rouge with my gas generator? Any chance the gas lines will get compromised?

Good thing about this weather is you don’t have to worry about your fridge and freezer if the power goes out. You just put everything out in the yard.

Jay Grimes is on Facebook blocking people calling him out for being petty over people discussing this potential and the model data

Check spark plug/plugs. New clean fuel with stabil in it. Start it up tomorrow, let it run.

I would be more worried about the block than the gas lines. Keep it warm as possible until time to go outside and run.

Just my advice, not an expert by any means

Even colder Sat/Sun.

Coming back home to this Monday (hopefully) without issues in NO.
