Exactly, Hill Country or Centex. Depends on where my daughter settles next summer.

I doubt the transplants would be that good. They had to move all the way to Texas just to find a job

The real question is... would y’all support a Texas / Louisiana superstate?

I’ll call it “Lexus”.

What would be the advantages of Lexus?

The Lexus high school football state championship would be insane.

Texas is all hat no cattle. Their whole gun totin image is bullshite and nothing but typical arrogant Texas bravado. They followed FOPA for vehicle carry for non license holders up until a few years ago. Theyre also a lot more restrictive in every way when it comes to firearms than Louisiana. They don't even allow open carry, or at least they didn't up until a few years ago. They also have a ton of transplants from the pussy north and pussy west. And a third of their population would flee back to Mexico as soon as war broke out, really cutting into their numbers.

Texans are a bunch of pretty boys that like to dress up as Cowboys and play upper management.

Source: me who lived there and has a ton of family members in both the Houston and Dallas area.

ETA: Louisianians are hospitable and friendly but they're also fierce when backed into a corner. Same for people from Alabama and especially them Mississippi boys. Don't y'all even know where the LSU 'Fighting Tigers' comes from?

Texas would be doomed as soon as their boots sunk into some swamp mud

Where do the loyalties of those who left La for a Texas lie? Think about how many LSU grads move to Texas.

I think Texas still have an advantage do to numbers but at least La could use some inside info to know what Texas is planning.
