There were clearly some bad translations in that article but that can't be right. I once had an aquarium devastated by a crawfish I put in there and it wasn't the plants that it ate. It cleared out half the fish in one night. The one time I don't do research...

Why the Hell would you have poaching laws against an invasive species?
