Not good. We don't want the Grand Emperor Edwards getting upset and forcing us all to stay inside!

Ill update OP
I originally saw number as 2,888
Tomorrow's number should be 2813 continuing the decline.
Hopefully the number of those on ventilators drops soon too. That's still one metric not looking good.

Assuming cases continue to die off and we reach our low within the next month on cases, how long will it take for hospital cases to get below 500ish, assuming no new waves?

If you are gonna be a conspiracy theorist then the J&J vacc is way juicier meat
Actually uses DNA which goes into human cell nucleus then mRNA created then spike protein made
The mRNA vaccs are simpler and the mRNA never gets into nucleus

I don’t mean to piss on your parade but when did you start back in school? It was starting to fall in Alabama too until few days ago when school bump hit
Most schools started 1-2 weeks ago.
I doubt Alabama started school earlier, if at all (unless Alabama began school the last week of July/first week of August)

My rolling 14 day count below. 1,154 drop from Friday, 4,717 drop from last Monday.

IMHO that's really something doctors seeing it firsthand are better able to answer. Pure numbers don't tell the whole story.
There's no way with just the numbers (or at least the ones I see) knowing whether there's say a 25 drop that means 75 new patients got admitted and 100 were discharged discharged, or whether those 25 died, or whether hardly any patients got admitted.
FWIW same applies during rising periods, the stats on discharged are not part of the discussion they want to get involved in. Much like the way they removed the recovered portion of the charts.
I realize the end result is the same, but without knowing how long the average stay is with the Delta variant that would be a total crapshoot imho for anyone to estimate without seeing the in/out numbers.

It may be telling, or it may not be. But the last several tuesdays have been the worst days of the week, lending to the notion it may be a data dump day. So if it's still -25 tomorrow that could be a sign that we are going to see significant drops later in the week.

Our rna.
If I remember what I read a year ago even remotely correctly, both moderna and pfizer introduce mRna into our own cells. The mRna being "instructions" of how to recognize and combat SARS.
The johnson and johnson variant using the same tech but in a more "traditional" sense. First the mRna being inserted into a harmless virus, and then that injected. Your body recognizes the created spike proteins and has a method of fighting it off.
Now, I understand that without certain enzymatic additions, neither are capable of entering the nucleus of our cells. That's freshman biology, what can and cannot enter the nucleus of a cell.
I get that.
However, in their trials on rats less than 8ish years ago, there were near 100% instances of cancer in those that were treated. Why? How?
A simple and obvious answer would be an accidental introduction of foreign genetic material inside the actual nucleus.
Maybe I'm right. Maybe I'm wrong. But far more people in my family have died of cancer than have gotten even more than a sniffle from covid.
My own test for antibodies is negative after repeated and extended exposure. So why should I get it?
What benefits do I see VS potential risks? None.
