Would you look at that? There were 2 spikes while there were mask mandates and mitigation efforts ongoing. Looks like they don't actually work.

I just know having covid sucks.

Not that I was on death's door, but it just doesn't want to go away.

I had it in December...it was just a dry cough that went away in about 24-48 hrs.

That on the surface seems to be a contradiction. My biggest pet peeve for this whole thing is how we disregard the best cure for Covid. MAKE HEALTHIER LIFE CHOICES!! We have had a YEAR AND A HALF

But you're supposed to love and accept fatness and not body shame. It's mean.

Why does it not bother this board about the Medicaid costs covid will bring?

Because the government will steal as much money from tax payers as possible, for whatever reason.

There is literally nothing anyone can do. So why worry about it.

It's like living your whole life worrying about dying and trying to rationalize it or stop it. It's not going to happen so live the best life you can and do things that bring happiness to you while you're here.

To think people on Medicaid can afford to pay for some type of extra insurance to cover the cost of getting sick from covid is well, not really thinking at all.

does it not bother you guys that you’ll be paying for this in taxes as Medicaid reimbursements soar for the hospital care?

You conveniently left out the data motivating that question.

but what I don't understand is how is this thing so prevalent in 106 degree heat index weather?

Covid spreads fastest indoors. Just like Texas, Louisiana saw the virus spread fastest at the hottest and coldest times of 2020.

I see what you're saying about the summer and winter solstices, but I'm hearing that Braxton and Jaxson caught it playing travel ball in Florida during the 4th with a bunch of other Louisiana baws laying out on the beach with the sun piping down. The opposite of long indoor exposure.

Are you sure that's possible in these uncertain times? Remember, we're all in this together.

I don’t know. If it stretches much past two weeks, we may need to consider a “new normal”, if you will.
