If mardi gras never happened, louisiana would likely have less than 100 cases.

I don't have access to the older numbers at the moment, but, although the confirmed cases have spiked, it seems that they dumped about 2,500 tests that only resulted in a 12-15% positive rate.

I could be way off, but that is my napkin math.

They just dumped the results of like 2,000 tests. Not that shocking really. Still right at 70% in NOLA and Jefferson.

Up to 34 dead? Interesting. We're now trending faster than Italy did from the first case. They only had 29 deaths at the end of today.

yep..and people that passed away the last week or so are being counted as COVID-19 deaths..they couldnt count them until their test came back

LSU Vet school started running test today I believe so they will come back in 1 day instead of 4-5 days.
