I’m on my phone so can’t navigate the ldh website. I assume they released the parish % numbers. What was EBRs? I know the last one was 4.1 and just needed a <5 to reopen bars. I also thought they updated the weekly stats on thursdays.
Regardless, great numbers and news! Thanks for your daily updates.

EBR was 4.10% 2 weeks ago, and 3.10% a week ago. It's reported on a lag so the most recent week we just completed is not factored in.

Someone in yesterday’s thread predicted -25 hospitalizations. He’s some sort of Negrodamous or something.

Total cases by collection date on or after 9/16/2020 - 5,405, plus hospitalizations equals 5,958. The number I posted yesterday using the same methodology was 6,130. There are 172 fewer active cases today than yesterday, a decrease of 2.81%. 422 of the 452 new cases are from test dates during this time.

Test Date 9/29/2020 9/30/2020 Change
9/15/2020 569
9/16/2020 560 560 0
9/17/2020 586 584 -2
9/18/2020 472 481 9
9/19/2020 219 221 2
9/20/2020 239 240 1
9/21/2020 696 695 -1
9/22/2020 569 573 4
9/23/2020 487 492 5
9/24/2020 417 426 9
9/25/2020 332 409 77
9/26/2020 164 178 14
9/27/2020 139 160 21
9/28/2020 103 310 207
9/29/2020 0 76 76
9/30/2020 0 0 0

Total 5,552 5,405 422
Hospital 578 553
Active Cases 6,130 5,958
Change 63 (172)
% Change 1.038% -2.806%

They have a presumed recovered stat on the website. If you subtract it from cases; also subtract deaths and two days worth of cases because presumed recovered stat only goes to 9/28 the active cases figure is 5,544. Not 5,958.

LDH Nursing Home #’s

10284 resident cases
1240 cases in other adult residential facilities
= 11524 cases

144 new resident cases

6266 staff cases
104 new staff cases

2041 resident deaths
143 deaths other adult residential facilities
= 2184 deaths

2184 of 5308 = 41.145% of deaths

From LDH
quote:

Currently, all deaths in individuals with COVID positive lab results are being counted, this may include individuals with pre-existing conditions or individuals ultimately determined to have another cause of death.

I've been tracking the past 5 days using the same method, which is current day plus past 14 days plus hospitalizations. My method includes 560 cases from tests conducted on 9/16, which we would presume to be recovered today. But since there are no results from tests conducted today, I am capturing 14 days worth of test results. Also, someone could be hospitalized with a test date of Monday. That would make them be counted twice with my method. I'm not exact, but it's close enough to see trends. Just trying to add some additional info for the people that want to see it.
