This has to be sarcasm. Talked to my buddy who works at olol and he says the covid numbers are down.

BS, it’s more likely they are at capacity for COVID designated ICU beds. Guaranteed they have the capability to open overflow wards, expand their COVID floor or redesignate standard ICU bed to become COVID beds.

My hospital has around 12 COVID designated ICU beds with the abilities to increase to around 40 or more if needed.

Region 2 which includes OLOL has 153 beds in use, 45 available

Statewide there are 532 ICU beds available

There’s a reason they don’t tell you how many ICU beds have Covid patients in them

first time in over 1.5 months that there have been back to back days of increasing hospitalizations.

It happened 9/15-16 (+14), followed by a -15 on 9/17, & 9/28-29 (+21), followed by a -25 on 9/30. I bet we don't get a -50 tomorrow, but I bet we still have a net negative by week's end.

4% and 49 hospitalizations in the past two days.
I thought the masks were fool proof and would make it disappear?

I’ll predict another huge drop in hospitalizations tomorrow. Just like last time this happened. I’m going to say -30 this time, Followed by a drop the next day as well.

And not all patients hospitalized for COVID are in ICU beds.

Thank goodness DC isn't located within Louisiana. Seems like everyone up there has it.

Wouldn't doubt this at all. We have done exceptionally well in Louisiana.

Where is it? I was told
It was coming.

Did I miss it?

When will the school start, Labor Day, and Hurricane Laura spike arrive? I’ve been hiding under my bed for the last 8 weeks waiting.
