There is nothing to support the increase in hospitalizations from a covid perspective, as there has not been an increase in positivity or spike in cases

Its just proof the hospitalizations for the most part have nothing to do with actually having covid

These are probably Flu cases, because I’ve heard it’s all one test.

To me, it means they're including people that had a PCR positive at least 14+ days prior to death.

It means that they recovered from COVID. CDC

Persons with COVID-19 who have symptoms and were directed to care for themselves at home may discontinue isolation under the following conditions:

At least 10 days* have passed since symptom onset and
At least 24 hours have passed since resolution of fever without the use of fever-reducing medications and
Other symptoms have improved.

It means that if you die and you've ever tested positive for COVID, you are a COVID death

You have COVID. You self isolate even with no symptoms for 10 days. You leave the house the following day for a nice walk to get some fresh air and get splatted by an 18 wheeler or, if you live in Metro BR or NO, get caught in a drive by shooting.

COVID death.
