I'm sure it's been said BUT what is the false positive %? Sabans 3 negative tests after the positive got me wondering again.

And are there other viruses that a person can have but be asymptomatic (other than HIV I can't think of any off hand)??

The nursing home where I work that STILL won't let me in is no longer testing residents EXCEPT for the new admits that are kept on a separate hall once a week for I'm not sure how long.

Employees are still tested weekly.

AND Vermilion Parish case count today is 2084 .. same as yesterday.

On 9/29, Vermilion had 2.044 cases. SO assuming 3 weeks "I'm over it" timeline, we have 40 "active" cases.

Since 9/8 we have only had 2 days above 5%, how can our overall rate be above that?

Didn't JBE request 12000 ventilators?

64 in use.

Thank God for that request.

My last visit was cancelled for the storm then a staff member tested positive so no more indoor visits
They are still testing residents weekly
He was able to get a hair cut, I’m sure those ladies were happy

I can’t believe they won’t let you in

I am confused, from what you said & what my friend said (she’s above an admin) CMS said everyone had to open (within reason)
There are a few around here that aren’t allowing visitors indoors or out
I think they may be using staffing issues as a reason

Saw this last week on WAFB

Not sure why the state is involved if CMS has final say

Why are you concerned about that? False positives clearly only happen to NFL athletes, Saban, and other "celebrity" type places...doesn't happen to normal people everyday...

And I think the data indicates that no one has been infectious after 9 days following symptom onset.

I have zero idea ... and our visits are outdoor only.

I can say I've been a pain in the arse to about 5 people this am .. between texting and calling to get what I needed, maybe I'll piss them off and they'll let me in?

I really am ready to give up.

I'm wanting to know just how back they're screwing up these numbers.
