Per LDH Website

LDH provides one daily update each day at 12PM CT.

Looks like we had a massive test dump today. Hospitalization and vent numbers are not available yet.

I don’t understand how these idiots are making data collection look so hard. 3 months in they still have a garbage system.

Is there data on how many of the positives are in nursing homes or in prisons?

This could be the first wave of the “test everyone connected with nursing homes and jails” program. Or it could just be a bunch of yesterday’s numbers not getting added until today. Either way, things appear to be holding par on the rolling averages.

I will swap your system for Alabama's. The ADPH said, "We don't like to use the word "recovered" in relation to Covid-19". So, we have absolutely no numbers on recoveries. They keep a cumulative tally of hospitalizations, which is useless, on their dashboard page. They do put out statistics on patients, though, and around 10% of Alabama cases are long term care facility/nursing home residents.
