But the day still went by with 0 number posted. So you have include the day(1)as well as the number reported(0) for that day

You’re telling me there is less than 40 new people in the state hospitalized because of covid? Time to open up

That. Is not. True. Backlog almost never gets reported the immediate day following. We know this. We've all seen it. You don't just throw a 0 for that data point.

This thread is scary, and not for any reason involving Covid.

And you'd be wrong. But you're like the third poster who wants to just attack my intelligence rather than discussing.

Today's update includes a backlog of 1,583 cases from the last two months.
That’s a good way to fudge the numbers.

Backlog doesn’t have anything to do with hospitalizations.

The problem is he is assuming that they "made up" for one day's N/A by dumping the next day. We all know that isn't true with how the LDH has handled backlog
Except this isn't a backlog of tests and yes that is exactly how they did handle it

Serious question...How are YOU handling the N/A in the list? I understand your assumption that it can't realistically be zero, but the state tells us they will just include it the next day. Either way, you still need a zero as a place holder to make 7 days. The day doesn't just disappear. Or, just divide both sums by 6. You need an apples to apples comparison.

I simply removed it and went 6 by 6. Thank you for responding in a productive manner.
