Saw something on the news at lunch about Lourdes saying they're at capacity and sending patients elsewhere but they aren't stopping elective procedures.

Seems to me that would suggest that the hospitalizations aren't as serious as they were in the past.

Lol 57,000 tests. There were 71,000 and 101,000 tests recently. How is that even possible. Think of the logistics of that. How many of these are BS or backdated and BS?

LDH has updated the info that's reported on their dashboard. You can now scroll over the days on the "new and previous cases by collection date" tab, which will show you "previous cases" and "total cases" on said date.

I assume "previous cases" means the total number that was reported there yesterday with "total cases" being the new, updated number.

Anyway...it appears that some of these tests go back to at least July, using the above assumptions. Well, I see June 29th had a change as well.

My first test was the rapid antigen test. It was negative but that one is not super reliable so they wanted to double check with the PCR which is the one that takes 3-5 days for results.

Personal anecdote but when I was sick they gave me the antigen test and then the PCR test after (both were negative).

This is dumb. They should only do PCR testing after an antigen test to confirm that a positive antigen test was actually positive.

Otherwise, you're just chasing cases with an overly sensitive PCR test.

If that image doesn't help drive home that this is all theater, I don't know how to help you.

Yeah I did some reading up just now, none of this was explained at the clinic I went to. They came in and did a rapid test, said it would be 15 minutes then came back 3 minutes later and said it was negative...explained that the rapid test has a high rate of false negatives and sent me on my why. What I'm reading is the rapid test is just a quick way to confirm a positive but not necessarily a negative

Total cases by collection date on or after 11/17/2020 - 22,751, plus hospitalizations equals 24,031. The number I posted yesterday using the same methodology was 21,250. There are 2,781 more active cases today than yesterday, an increase of 13.09%. 5,299 of the 5,326 new cases are from test dates during this time. Oldest cases date back to June 29th.

Does the appearance of updating numbers as far back as June 29th affect your number from yesterday?

They just did the antigen test on me. It was positive so I guess they didn’t feel the need for the other?

Because they are just chasing numbers, not actually trying to confirm illness.

Antigen positives should be confirmed with PCR.

Due to a recent processing error, some COVID-19 data that would have been reported November 29-30 is being reported today.

This has happened every single time JBE needs a big # day.
How much more obvious can the BS and propaganda be?
