Gotta love this thought process:

So much energy in the Gulf that it creates massive storms must be global warming

Not enough energy in the gulf to actually become a storm so it sits and dumps all of the rain in one location- must be global warming!

It seems like when it comes to global warming you get to have your cake and eat it too!
