I mean...so what if parts of Europe have structures/castles dating back to 1300s or even older.
LA has Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop... clearly more historic than some old castles amirite??

Louisiana was founded in 1812, most places in Europe were on their 1,000th ruler by then

Yep. Most of the bashers and people that have left and take the time to bash it are the ones that had nothing or no one to keep them here.
Its all relative to what makes you happy. This state is where everything and everyone that matter to me resides so this is where I will stay.
For every negative, there is a positive. For all you people stating LA politics are fricked, show me one state where they are not.
Louisiana had it's problems in politics years ago but for the most part, it has gotten on track with at least the norm.
