Had this happen to my cousin once. Six months later, boom, cancer.

My mom always asked me this when I lost something.

If I knew where I lost it at it wouldn't be lost.

Step 1) think hard about the last place you used your phone. any exciting conversations, correspondence with love ones, etc.

Step 2) retrace your steps

Step 3) get an iPhone you fricking loser

A phone tracker should show you the last location before it died.

Other than that, you'll have to rely on sorcery.

Your provider might show you where you've been recently. Maybe Google will?

If you find it, I bet it's the last place you looked...

That always make me laugh when someone is like "man I found what I was looking for in the last place I looked" and they get pissed when you respond with "well I would hope so, wouldn't have made sense to keep looking after you found it"

you can go to maps.google.com/locationhistory and it will show the location your phone was last powered on at.

The Google Find my Device works just like Find My Iphone.
Google Find My Phone

The History will help you find it if they turn phone on even for a few seconds.
