The Google Find my Device works just like Find My Iphone. Google Find My Phone The History will help you find it if they turn phone on even for a few seconds.

Was gonna post this as well.

Unlike iOS, it is turned on automatically so you should be able to do this.

We found my wife's phone which was mistakenly taken by one of our friends at a party (Wife left it in one of their camping chairs)

Speaking from experience...Look in the bottom of your furniture. On the bottom of your couch is a thin piece of fabric that covers the inside of your couch. Check that area.

I have an app called Android Lost. It turned on my gps and camera, and I found my phone underneath my truck on the street

It's rarely the first place you look.

Go to the place you left it. It will be there.

Any chance you posted this from your phone and just didn't realize it's in your hand?

Kind of a spinoff. When will we see an app or phone with a tiny mobile networked connected bit of hardware(like a PLC) that CAN turn a phone on(turning it off is easy).

Think that will ever be a part of factory delivered phones?
Or not worth it/too expensive?

A phone tracker should show you the last location before it died.

I lost my phone on a cruise ship....no signal, so no way to track it

Good thing is an Android replacement through insurance is a bit cheaper than an Iphone.
