Lou-Weez-E-Anna

It's pretty damn easy to pronounce it but it still surprises me the amount of people that pronounce it incorrectly, even the ones that live in the state.

You are correct. I don’t know why I added “new” onto it?

just because that is how you say it does not make it correct.
it is not spelled that way. All I ever heard growing up was Lou-z-ana, Doug Kershaw says it that way in the song.
Louisiana Man

Let people say it how they want

incorrect, there was no queen anna, it is not named that way,

"anna" on the end of a word means the land of, the Land of KIng Louis,
Montana, land of mountains
Indiana- land of indians

Country folk from CenLa and North LA are more likely to pronounce it Lou zee Ana

most of South Louisiana excluding the upper Florida Parishes will say Luh Wee Zee Ana. The more common pronunciation outside of LA is definitely Luh Wee Zee Ana.

The more country the person is the more likely you will get Lou Zee Ana.

The pronunciation of Louisiana is perhaps the least controversial of all.
