SIAP. I searched.

The city of Los Angeles voted to rename Rodeo Road to Obama Boulevard

The announcement came on the 10th anniversary of Obama becoming the first African-American nominated for president by a major political party

It was also the 55th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s March on Washington on Tuesday, where he delivered his famous 'I Have A Dream' speech

The newly-minted 'Obama Boulevard' will run through Baldwin Hills, an area of South LA often referred to as the 'Black Beverly Hills'

Obama held a campaign rally at the Rancho Cienega Sports Center and Park, located along the roadway,  when he was running for president

We’re thrilled that Angelenos and visitors will forever be reminded of the legacy of President @BarackObama when traveling across L.A.,' Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti tweeted on Tuesday

What is the point of this thread? Just for info so people don't get confused by their GPS directions?

This is the kind of thing that is completely unimportant but triggers the exact people who love to talk about how SJWs are such pussies for getting triggered by unimportant shite.

He got a road that's only about 3 miles long. The only real traffic is local.

Trump is essentially erasing Obamas presidency from history, so I'm okay with letting these people have their cute little moment.

No it’s not the black Beverly Hills.

It’s the black Palisades.
