The NOLA canal thread got me thinking. Lootie should be pushing 60 about now. Probably average life span for a looter. Is he still alive? Up vote yes. Down vote no.

Most black beacons of light in times of despair (Lootie, Wood, Harambe, Emmanuel Lewis) die too young. RIP

I remember in the crazy post-K days when the old NOLA.com message boards were the the only place for info, so guy from California was trying to find Lottie and sign him to an entertainment deal.

If Lottie had made 5 cents royalty for every time his picture was posted on the internet, he would have had a very different life.

Didn't someone find him in Atlanta years ago and Lootie denied it?

I'm kinda surprised no one has ever identified that guy.

I’m pretty neutral on where I live. Very nice area, but a fairly high cost of living to go along with that. I don’t see what that has to do with Lootie , though…

I thought the title said Lootie the Lobster.

I remember reading somewhere that he died. It might have been here.

I've always wondered about this guy, like if he knows how many crazy memes he has been in? If he is alive, he should come forward and cash in on his celebrity!

An oldie but goodie.

In the US, where I assume you live?

But seriously, there are plenty of shite on Nola threads. It’s okay to reminisce about a shitty situation that was Katrina and laugh about some of the things that came out of it. We all know how much hurricanes suck.

Hell I was living in GA when Opal hit and a tree went through my bedroom window.
