Looking outside to fill a need is fine. But, looking to fill with Somalians and shite is dumb. Why bring in 3rd world problems? They should look to fill roles without regard to color or religion.

Right.

Diversity for diversity sake adds nothing to the state's value or health.

Adding the "most qualified candidates" for each job adds a ton of value to the state, regardless of race.

If they're all black, great. If they're all white, that's great too. It just doesn't matter, they just want the optics of being "racially inclusive" so they do things like this.

My feelings when my friend's got in an uproar when Trump was elected. They were talking about moving to the NE. So I said, oh to states that are more homogenous than the south? Have more whites?

My good buddy is from Ohio. His sister came down to visit and felt he was turned into a racist. And he basically just told her to shut up, she only knew white people. Her views we're that southerners are racist, yet she's never lived in a diverse community before.

My sister moved to Wyoming and then Portland and she forgets what the South is like.

Takes her about 1 week in Baton Rouge to start getting those "old feelings" back. Its hilarious.

People have no idea.

Don't you dare try to use that as an explanation. They will double down on you. It's just ignorance.

Urban and some suburban areas are diverse. Rural areas are not. It's not that difficult to see.

If they chose to live mainly outside of the south, the media and left would be screaming even more about how racist the south and republicans are

If they really want to address the problem I see no issue with a relocation outreach program which targets New Orleans inner city youth by offering them a bus ride and $10k to start their new life in New Hampshire.

God forbid we should just let people live where they want to live. Let's try and force diversity for diversity's sake on every fricking area of the country.

Does this mean they are trying to reduce the number of black folks in areas where they are the majority? You know, make everywhere meet the demographic make-up of the country...by force if necessary?

BTW: my black say they don't live in the north because it's too damn cold.

I lived in NH in '76-'77. I remember looking up census data which told me there was, at that time, a total of 230-some black people.

In the whole state.

Germans.

This premise was already an episode of Portlandia.

The mayor just 23andMe'd the city and they added up the small parts of each person's ancestry to boost the diversity numbers.

Those 1/16 Cherokees really start to add up.

On the other hand maybe Trump can stick them with a load of those Syrian refugees if they're still a thing in 2018.

Lots of ways to massage the numbers.

While I strongly denounce your wording, have you ever asked yourself the question as to why people of color tend to align with the left? I know many of my conservative friends that will say it is because the left buys them with free handouts, which is a convenient cop out that is far from accurate. Think about how heavily religious much of the black and hispanic community is...shouldn't that fit in well with true conservative ideals over liberal? But they are largely uncomfortable aligning with the right because of their heavily racist policy's. It is quite clear to people of color that the left sees them as equals and the right does not and the reason is not for political gain on the left...it is because it is true!

Elaborate, will you?

Which, specifically, conservative policies are racist? I’ll wait....

DIdnt they just pass a law that they will pay you like 15,000$ to move there?

I know Vermont is paying people $5K a year for 2 years to move there. I think you have to bring your job with you. I'd take that deal in a heartbeat if I could work from home.
