Voter suppression is alive and well all over the U.S. The voter ID laws are disproportionately affecting low income minorities, the disabled and elderly. You and I can head off to the DMV and handle getting an ID no problem, but these people and many that live in the cities with public transportation and no need for a car don't worry about having an ID. And Alabama was specifically caught passing a photo ID law and then shortly after closing down dozens of DMV offices in low income neighborhoods making it so people had to drive 20 plus miles to the nearest DMV. Coincidence?

If their history can not be confirmed or seems sketchy then deny them, but no need to ban all of them because the vast majority that come over here become great contributing members of society such as physicians, architects, business owning job creators, etc. Why is N. Korea even on the list? They do not even let their people leave the country. And they just throw in Venezuela on the new list so that they were not all Muslim countries. And may ask why not 1 single country that was home to the 9-11 hijackers is on the list? Saudi, UAE, Egypt and Lebanon...it is because Trump does business in all those countries except Lebanon that is known as an ally in the middle east.

True, but only one party has been found guilty by the federal courts of doing so on a racially biased basis...guess which one? Federal courts have upheld the cases against Virginia, N. Carolina and Texas. However, thanks to Gorsuch's stolen SCOTUS seat they overturned the Texas lower court rulings earlier this year. Does not change the facts of their motivation.

Not in the slightest, it is inherently racist in the fact they are simply more "fated" to be arrested and convicted of crimes that are also committed on the same levels by white people. If you want, I can site sources for what I state but you probably will never look at it so I will state what is factual:
Black people are 7 time more likely to be "wrongfully" convicted over whites for murder, 3.5 times for sexual assault and 12 times for drug offenses.
From the US Sentencing Commission-from 2007-2016 black men from the same background and committing the same crime received 19% longer sentences.
And plain and simple here are the FBI crime statistics for arrests (not convictions) in the U.S. 2016.

As you will see, crime committed by whites is more than twice that of blacks but somehow blacks are 5 times more of the prison population.

This countries policies have been put in place over and over to greatly benefit those of us that are white and disenfranchise others. I do not suffer from white guilt because I never instituted any of this bullshite, but I do have honor and believe in living by morals that treat everyone the same. Yes, people bear personal responsibility regardless of the hand they are dealt. But to think it is an even playing field for everyone is flat out naive. Be careful when someone says "watch out for the boogieman" because that is exactly what the boogieman will tell you.
