What is the right thing to do when you hear gun shots? Is it to run or get down? I always thought it was to get down and look for cover. If someone is shooting at people, you can get hit by running.... Anytime there is a crowd especially with certain types of people, they take off like they are out of their damn minds

Get down in a stampede? You have a risk of being shot by running, a guarantee of being trampled if you hit the ground in a stampede.

I get that, but I am talking about it should be common knowledge so there isn't a stampede because people can get injured in a stampede.

Maybe all of the anxiety associated with the 15/18 hours they are taking on top of working full time has caused this completely shocking deviation from their normal behavior? No doubt some are dealing with the woes of med school..

Not sure if posted but Sheriff said it wasn't gun fire that sent things into chaos. The startling sound of crushing water bottles was the culprit.
