I drove some outrageous 1st gen Mustangs in high school and the only girls in the crowd they could create were tugging on their BFs arms begging them to be anywhere but there.

Well not exactly, but it is based on that car. The GT3 that will race IMSA has roughly 300 less HP is lighter and way more downforce... plus all of the racecar stuff on it.

They're building another one and most likely the last version. This car is to go back GT racing and Multimatic (the company that built/is building the GT) basically took their years of GT3 cars and whipped up something cool and fast. Then Ford decided to commission them to build 300 of them for their execs, ford family and elite customers (think someone that has 2-3 GTs already)

FoMoCo claims a sub 7 minute Nurburgring lap time.
There is absolutely nothing, and I mean it cannot even exist that is not super well thought out and mechanically superior to most everything called an automobile which can accomplish that feat.
It has only been accomplished by 5 manufacturers in history. Even the almighty Ferrari has only done it ONCE. And that happened this year.
Bravo to the blue boys for attempting this.
