Ocean Springs is a cool little town and you can just make the drive for the casinos in Biloxi if you want

And eat some good food. Check out the Half Shell Oyster House across from the Hard Rock.

New Orleans, San Antonio, or Austin are the three places that make sense.

Best stop in my opinion would be the Naval Air Museum and Blue Angels practice in Pensacola. I have been a 5-6 times and even though it is free, I would easily pay $50 to go again. Its that good.

I’m pretty sure the museum is still closed to anyone not holding a military ID or being accompanied by such. It’s been that way for a while with the rona pandemic but I’m not sure if that’s loosened up yet

Bay St Louis is the obvious answer. Stay at the Pearl or the Bay Town Inn. Plenty of restaurants and shops to keep both of y’all busy. Rent a golf cart and just cruise around...

Hotel to the far right, The Pearl, is finished now...the near building to the right has been renovated as well:

That's Jasper, TX.

Honestly, there is a Gator/Snake zoo in Anahuac, TX. It is right off I-10. It was actually featured on Texas Bucket List. I pass it all the time going to the duck camp or hunting. Always wondered about it and it does look kinda cool. You can't miss it, it has a huge gator head at the entrance.
