Fossil makes some nice wallets. I’ve had my fossil trifold for a few years now and it holds up great.

Can't speak for the quality nowadays but I have been through 2 in the past 25 years & had a leather checkbook cover for over a decade that is still in excellent condition stashed away

My current fossil wallet is 15 years old & is just now showing some signs of degradation

100% Horween Leather. Mine developed a very nice patina after a year.

Friend,

The males of my bloodline have, for generations, shown favor for Ettinger. At roughly $400, an Ettinger occupies that agreeable middle ground where one may expect superb English craftsmanship without descending into the vulgar phylactery of brand worship. Ricci and Hermes, by contrast, strike me as little more than heraldic advertisements for their owners’ purchasing power, ostentation masquerading as taste, which I have always regarded with a certain filial contempt.

For the quotidian business of life, however, I carry a Levi’s wallet purchased at Mervyn’s, given to me in 1999 by one of my friends from youth group. It has survived considerably longer than most things of greater pedigree and, being one of the only gifts I received from a friend, is a treasure beyond treasures.

Yours,

This right right here. I got mine off of Amazon after shopping a good bit. It's gator and shows zero wear after approximately 10 years.

Can I ask why? I don't see the need to have even a bifold these days since you aren't carrying nearly as much cash/change as 15 years ago

I use this. Got one for my birthday 3ish years ago and just got a brown leather one as a gift.

I’m looking for a crocodile one if anyone knows of a reasonably priced brand/shop. Everyone thinks their wallets are made of albino crocodile skin.

That Yoderleather is BS. I would expect full croc leather for their prices.

I am a hobbyist leather worker. I do not sell anything, and only dabble in the craft, but I think I have a better than average understanding of leather and craftsmanship. I follow a lot of small time leather crafters, and if money is not any object, I highly recommend Lost Dutchman leather. LINK

Seaworthy leather makes some good ones. He will put just about whatever you want on them and they're only about $100. Handmade. He's a navy vet if you care about that sort of thing.

I got one for my nephew from him. I forget exactly what it said but something along the lines of I'm gay because I go to LA Tech. He also makes plain wallets with nothing vulgar or trashy on them.

I got one from Amish Leather Works. Great solid made one. I had them engrave my phone number on the inside for when I lose it.

Diluth Trading Company American bison bifold.

I got this one and love it. Simply made and the leather is true quality. I like the texture of bison leather. Probably won’t need another wallet for 20 years.

You’re asking the wrong group of people. Half the OT probably uses a rubber band to secure their cards and cash.
