I have a 2019 Ram 1500. Big Horn which is only one step up from the Tradesman work truck. With that said it is a darn fine vehicle. The ride is amazing.

This comment made my week. Literally shot beer out of my nose. Thank you!

You must drive like a donkey then... I have a 2011 Ram1500 with 198k on the clock, and a 2018 2500 Cummins with almost 250k as of now. Both have seen their fair share of hauling, and work.
Other then a plug wire rubbing a hole on the 1500, I’ve had ZERO issues with either.

I have a Tundra Platinum 4x4 with 5.7L with 1” lift. I have never got below 15 mpg with towing a 15” boat. Daily driving, I get over 16 mpg. My old 4.6L Tundra got 17-19 mpg, so its not terrible on gas (granted dont complain about mpg if you going fullsize truck, period).
OP. Dont buy F-150, you probably see on news every week they have a new recall. Other ones, test drive and do research. 5.3L GM is a reliable motor IMO. And dont touch Titan

I’ve got a 2019 Ram Rebel with 53k miles. Absolutely zero issues. Best ride of any FS pickup I’ve ever been in. Ram has gone leaps and bounds past all other manufacturers. This is coming from a previous Ford and GM owner.

Meh anything less than a 450 is a toy, not a truck.

I have been looking at the Rebels. Nice looking ride.

I call shenanigans. I have owned 3 Tundras (and a Tacoma), and the best I can realistically expect on a tank of gas (standard tank) is 300 miles, if you are lucky. Pulling a boat lowers that significantly. Maybe you got the special one.
That being said, my next truck will be a Tundra. I did the Chevy thing for a while, and I'd buy one if I need something bigger, but I just prefer everything about the Toyota. My dad has a couple brand new Chevy's on the farm, and they are very nice, but I just can't fathom all the gizmos and gadgets working in a few years.

What does the rebel package include? Some light skidplates?

Sorry bud, as a Tundra owner I have to call BS unless you have the lightest foot ever. Mine barely breaks 14-15 without towing.

You can't make sh!tty, unreliable vehicles for so many years and then turn it around on a dime. I will absolutely agree that the new rams are the most luxurious of the full size trucks, but I am simply not a believer in the new found reliability. Time will tell.
Tundras - probably the best truck out there in terms of reliability and resale - poor mileage and desperately in need of an engine and body update.
Ford - who wants a 6 cyl in a full sized truck? aluminum everywhere? not for me. Ford has always drug up the rear in terms of interiors. All the buttons are square and you have to read the labels to figure out what is what. zero ergonomics involved in the interior design.
GM/chevy - best interiors (besides the ram) but the new GMC front end is hideous. probably as reliable as the ford and definitely better Than the ram. I do like the nose on the chevy better than the GMC.
Nissan - certainly not the prettiest, but my company has about 25 of them and we spend less on maintenance now than we did with any of the other brands. can't say much else nice about them.
I drive a 2015 because I haven't liked anything that has been put out from any of them since then. Maybe the tundra redesign will be enough to make me switch, but I haven't driven a gas truck in a long long time.

And suspension and a legit transfer case. Not one that relies on clutches that overheat like the standard 4x4 Rams. Also a slightly different appearance package.

In fairness, Chrysler's pickups were never THAT bad. In many years they were better than Ford (and I think they are right now too). They were always significantly more reliable than the Chrysler built vans and compact cars even in their worst years. Dodge Ram has been a major player in the 3/4 ton truck market since they've been installing Cummins diesel engines in them.
Dodge Ram was also significantly more old-school for decades than its competitors. Their 1993 model truck used technology developed in the late 1960s.

The new 6.6L gasser is basically a bored out version of the 6.0L Vortec with direct injection. There's no fuel efficiency gimmics with this one like there are on the half ton trucks from Ford, GM, and Ram.
That's a good thing. The Silverado HD is probably one of the top 5 most reliable vehicles you can buy today. But their interior is extremely plain.
