Pretty sure no one has said longer than three days.

Frick that , go to ER and request a marcaine nerve block, should be good for 8+ hours of mouth numbing relief. May get you some pain pills also.

about 50ish hours when my first child was born. Had to check in the hospital at midnight, then was all downhill from there.

I did around 3 straight days during senior year of school for finals week. About 70 straight hours or so. I got into this weird cycle of not sleeping well so I’d take a bunch of adderall to stay awake and because of all the adderall, I couldnt sleep. So then I’d take more adderall. I couldn’t just naturally nap during the day because I had too much in my system.

It was crazy. After a while I developed this feeling of euphoria. My body also started going into this weird sleep mode while I was awake. I wasn’t actually sleeping but I could feel parts of my brain turning off.

A few things I noticed:
-the strange instances of momentary sleep while still awake
-inflammation throughout my body, especially my face. If I even touched my face it became inflamed
-really pale skin, especially in my face
-trouble with speech - like that part of my brain wasn’t working properly
-I didn’t have hallucinations like you did but after a while I didn’t feel sleepy, just a feeling of euphoria.

I slept for nearly 20 hours when I finally went to sleep. Since that incident I’ve had an interest in sleep deprivation and what it does to the body. I find it fascinating. I’ve done quite a bit of reading on it. I should do a thread on sleep deprivation. There’s some interesting stuff your body does to compensate when sleep deprived.

About 72 hours. It was bad. And not drug induced.

The only reason for people to remember the exact hours is because they were pushing themselves and keeping track...not having to do it out of necessity.

Exact hour people are not legit.

Or you stay awake for an obnoxiously long time, then you crash. Then you wake up, go “holy frick”, and start counting backwards.

Just over 50 hours when I was a teenager.

I can barely make 24 without dozing off nowadays.

Back during my coke days, I would wake up on Sunday morning 8 AM and go to bed the following Friday night at midnight. Maybe a 20 minute catnap on Wednesday night. But, usually 136 hours straight through. Amazing how much shite you can get done when you take out sleeping.

Saturday to Tuesday.

Flew to L.A. for a programming gig that was close to impossible to build in the timeframe.

Literally sucked down coffee and programmed 24/7 until they were packing everything up in boxes to take the show on the road.

Finished with enough time to build a nice little admin tool that was outside the scope and was so high on adrenaline after I finished that i was bouncing off the walls all day wed and didnt sleep until that night.

I’d go a week at a time without sleeping when I went off my mood stabilizers a couple years ago. Then sleep a few hours and do it all over again

It’s so miserable. The main thing that happens to me is major paranoia and some delusions of persecution
