Longest friends w/ benefits relationship you've had?

As I get older it seems like these relationships are more common with both men and women. However, the last three 'agreements' with this usually carries a time duration of 3 months before one or the other wants more than just a regular sexual partner and tries to make it more than it is which leads to drama.

A year-ish... With a couple of week or two breaks in between when she'd go all I need to be your girlfriend on me.
Haven't gotten together in a while at no fault but my own now that I think of it... May need to give her a shout holler at hit soon.

Just had one that has gone on for about ~ 7 months. Last week we decided to take a break cuz I'm not sure I want it anymore, and she wants it to be more serious.
But as of this second, I wouldn't hate getting up in dat again....

Year or two while in college. We didn't hang out all of the time, but sex was usually a given if we were and had nothing else. It was kinda cool because we didn't even have to talk sometimes. Longest one that happened every day was like two or three months. I fessed up to my gf at that point, and ended both relationships

Three months seems to be the general expiration date for such arrangements. By that point, it seems the freshness and excitement of getting laid on a regular basis loses its novelty and the female, or sometimes male, ultimately seeks some greater form of intimacy.
Plus, I feel like three months is a pretty good amount of time for you to assess whether or not you want to find some new strange or attempt to turn the current sex partner into a significant other.

6 years. We dated for maybe three months in that entire period. Never stopped sleeping together.
Met my wife and realized about four hours in I was going to marry her, slept with the FWB one more time the next day, and said goodbye forever.
ETA: we were great friends; we had amazing physical chemistry; but if a title was applied, we instantly turned into extremely jealous awful partners.
