Disrespect

The increased amount of crap officers are having to deal with now combined with the political and civil liabilities for simply trying to enforce the law. This will only lead to lower quality policing and eventually federal policing in the areas that will turn (more) chaotic.

Disrespect of this level would get you deservedly killed in many countries.

This has every impression of a people that simply want criminal life to be ok. We will all pay the price.

Maybe you should move to one of those countries then if you don't like it that much here.

I nearly lost it when he took a bucket of water and dumped it over the cop's head as he was walking away dejected. I can't imagine thinking that was a good idea.

But I bet you love the Constitution. 1A, 2A, Not 4A, 5A...

LEO isn't what this country was built on. LEO is what keeps you behaving like the rest, though. Think more.

The idea that progressives and SJW's want to defund police is a sham. The massive centralized state that would exist if they were in power requires an even larger police force than we have now. They don't want to abolish police, they want to rechannel resources to a separate force meant to enforce SJW ideology.

You think I support the police? Check my post history. Unlike your naive arse, I don't believe for a minute progressives are sincere about defunding the police given their worship of the state.

By definition, Libertarians are just as SJW. And trust me, I don't mind that. The method differentials? Sure. But you even using the term SJW being a Libertarian is ironic.

How so, considering the social justice crowd is as far from the NAP as you can possibly get? There is no reconciling a movement whose ideology is based on "speech is violence" and criminalizing speech with a desire to be rid of government control.

Doesn’t matter.

Normal times = “police brutality”. Good times or bad times...there is no difference for some. The folks who pull strings benefit during times of strife.

I don’t care anymore if the murder rate goes through roof. Kill each other at 10x the rate of today....fewer thugs I have to worry about.

But on the plus side....when/if I do have to “deal” with an undesirable at some point, does anyone feel that LEO wouldn’t just walk in and high 5 and say thanks?

These motherfrickers have really screwed the pooch.

I think plenty sir. I believe in fundamental respect. What keeps you behaving is proper parenting, respect for other humans, social mores, and the knowledge that if and when you do commit a crime there is just punishment awaiting you.

Oh no the horror, police have to be held responsible just like every other person in the world. Poor little fragile snowflakes can’t take responsibility for their frick ups.

What you are describing is nothing, NOTHING compared to the long term damage the retroactive scrubbing and future blacklist of putting a cop in a positive role in media.

Race war shortly after the November 3rd Presidential election.

All the signs are there. It won't be wide spread, but there will be pockets of violence in Democrat led cities and there will be minimal response from local law enforcement.

Trump will have to activate National Guards in several cities to quell the unprovoked attacks from the other side.

Slowly, those cities will restore order but there will be a new expectation on citizens to defend and protect themselves before law enforcement.

Proactive, strong enforcement in urban areas that need to be policed has and will cease. Communities of color will suffer as a result. It will take years for law enforcement to trust elected leaders and return to policing as we previously knew it.

This, I wish there were stockpiles of free meth, fentanyl, along with guns and ammo on every corner.

Those who so choose can kill themselves off as quickly as possible and the rest of us can get on with life.

Sadly they are better at theft, murder, and intimidation.

Police are great at all of these. Most of you bootlickers seem to only focus on police killing unarmed people, which is indeed rare, but overlook all the other ways police abuse their power. From pulling you over for bullshite reasons, to seeing something "suspicious" thus giving them reason to search your vehicle without a warrant, to civil asset forfeiture, to just being dicks to people. It was no surprise that people would get fed up with them eventually.

Held responsible? For what? When is the last time somebody got in your face at work, screamed obscenities at you, threw shite at you and dumped water on your head while filming you at the same time??

What fricks are you talking about? There are like 800,000 police officers in America. They are all responsible for the actions of an extremely small percentage of officers?

If that is the case, every teacher is a pedophile, every doctor is a quack, every politician is crooked, and while we are at it...let's just go ahead and hold an entire race of people responsible for committing the highest percentage of America's violent crimes. They are all responsible.

Like holy shite. meanwhile..no big deal people straight up murdered folks at double the rate all over the place.

And last I checked, the majority of the officers who have committed a public crime were held accountable by our justice system. THAT is the responsibility.
