Granted.. I haven’t seen all his videos but I’ve never seen him approach and get right in someone’s face. They usually approach him and bc he’s holding a camera it gives the illusion that he’s in their face when they’re the ones who came up to him.

Whether it’s right or wrong isn’t up to the cops to decide. They’re going to enforce the order.

Which is fine but there are several exemptions to the Canon and the police didn’t inquire whether his purpose would fit one of those exemptions.
But a troublesome excerpt is where the term “Media” is defined. It’s totally subjective and ripe for abuse by enforcers of the law.

The last thing I would do if I preferred not to be on someone else's video is walk right in front of their camera while they're obviously recording... and then complain about being in their video.

Calling what he is doing an"audit" is an insult to real auditors.
He antagonizes authority and skirts the edge. The policy clearly says courtrooms and "adjacent" areas. Everything in that little building is adjacent to the courtroom. They have every right to enforce policy.
If he calls what they did an "assault", then he is truly a pussy.
Nobody (outside of entertainment/sports) wants to be filmed on the job. Come to my office filming and you will be escorted out. Frick this guy.

That's policy & policy doesn't trump the constitution. Those cops are law enforcement officers, & took an oath to uphold the constitution, not feelings or policy enforcement officers.
Every cop in America should be fighting for the rights of auditors, as long as they're not breaking the law.
