then the 8 year old. The little girl saw her brothers murdered by her mom and ran away and hid in her daddy's office. Her mother hunted her down and then murdered her on the floor.

she stopped in the middle to call her husband back after she missed his call while murdering her middle child and to tell him generic medicine was ok for her daughter's stomach ache. Then she murdered her daughter.

Prosecution rebuttal witnesses

The first rebuttal witness called by prosecutors was forensic psychiatrist Dr. Avram Mack. He interviewed Clancy in April of this year, saying she seemed normal but did tear up at points. He said she wasn't happy with the food at Tewksbury Hospital and wasn't interested in physical therapy.

"She described feeling miserable, not wanting to be alive," Mack said.

He concluded that Clancy probably suffered from a major depressive episode and anxiety. But he said there was no evidence that she was ever bipolar in a manic state, like the defense has argued.

Mack also cast doubt on the defense's main argument that Clancy was psychotic at the time of the killings because she was overmedicated.

"I can appreciate that she felt side effects and a degree of change from the medications that she took," he said. "I don't know that that feeling or belief is necessary psychotic."

Mack said Clancy told him that on the day of the murders, she heard a loud male voice in the late afternoon.

"The voice said, to the effect of, 'you should kill the kids, this is your last chance so that you can kill yourself,'' Mack said.

He said she described how she strangled and killed the children.

"She described that while that was happening, she was saying out loud, 'go to God," Mack said.

Mack also testified that Clancy seemed to know the difference between right and wrong.

"My opinion is that she retained the capacity required for having criminal responsibly for these actions," he said.

Contentious cross-examination between Mack and Reddington followed. Reddington asked how Mack investigated Clancy's past, and Mack answered it was by talking with Clancy after the murders and reviewing records.
