Entirely transparent, it measures 90 feet long by 19 feet wide and is nearly 10 feet deep, with a water depth of about four feet. It is the inspiration of Sean Mulryan, chairman and founder of developer Ballymore. Next month, the group will unveil Legacy Buildings, the second phase of the scheme.

There is something about the idea of this that seriously freaks me out. I feel my lil heart racing just looking at this pic and thinking about it.

i'm sure there's nothing that could go wrong with this idea....

side note, how fricking strong/thick is that glass gonna have to be?? and there's gonna have to be some kind of maximum occupancy at a time warning...

A pool in Britain? Don't you need sun to make that enjoyable?

that's just inaccurate. their sun is the same size but it doesn't put out as many neutrinos.

Meh, they have the skybridge at the Grand Canyon.

Maybe they can hire those same stupid Indians to manage the pool?

That's 128,250 gallons of water if my math is correct, at 1,070,280.122023 pounds.

Naw, I can't see a single issue there with the structural integrity as pictured.

A pool without any piping at all? It can't just be a big clear hunk of plastic. There has to be some solid structures to hide the drains, return piping, circulating jets, etc.

I'm sure the pool carries over to the buildings main structure too.
