I'm not good at math or engineering but sounds like its going to be pretty fricking thick?

It's acrylic and it's not really that big of a deal when you think of large aquariums. it will probably have steel angles on the side.

Only thing is with large aquariums you set them on a stand and this will just be out in the open. Acrylic is extremely strong tho

I'm not referring to hobby aquariums.

similar projects have already been done. And even crazier concepts thought of.

I would think that the buildings swaying would be the biggest issue. Even a couple of inches seems like it would cause major problems.

The pool probably bears on some type of pads on either roof that allow for some expansion

Unless it was able to float on both buildings, similar to how that one nutty guy builds treehouses.

I'm sure they have that figured out. it probably sits on a suspension or float that allows for shifting and swaying. Otherwise supports would have to be all the way down the building. I'm only guessing.

Expansion joints bra, just like on a bridge.

Just don't get out on the wrong side. And there must be a strict no horseplay rule as well as no alcohol. Where's the fun in that.

That's 128,250 gallons of water if my math is correct, at 1,070,280.122023 pounds.

Water depth is only 4ft. So that would be 51,163.2 Gallons of water at 427,724.35 lbs.
