That's the biggest problem I have...here's my stance...

Believe what you wanna believe, and live your life however the hell you want to, just don't:

1) Negatively affect others safety or their ability to live their lives the way they want to, or
2) Expect me (or try to force me) to believe what you do

This applies to and works for pretty much everything...politics, religion, sexuality, etc. We've gotten to this fricked up place where a segment of our country wants to coerce the many into accommodating and "celebrating" the few.

ETA: In my opinion, it's also an attempt by the left to refocus our attention away from all the shite that's screwed up right now ahead of the midterms. As in, we know we f'd pretty much everything, but hey, look over here at the people who are bigots!

Parents getting divorced and remarried do NOT make up a nuclear family and anyone who tells themselves otherwise is just being selfish. Children need to be raised in a household with their mom and dad living under the same roof. So many people have children then get divorced that American society has deluded itself that having step parents is ok and normal. Its not. Having a child then getting divorced is beyond selfish.
