Logical next step - removal of the racist gorilla statues

Dallas is one-upping the stupidity by removing statues of animals, which I am pretty sure are just part of the natural order.

Fixed link and looks like the statue is being put back but the original stupidity still stands as this should have never happened.

A statue of a gorilla, and prime attraction for kids at the Community Park playground in Corsicana was removed by the city. A spokesperson for the city said some community members found the gorilla offensive – racially insensitive — in some form, and requested its removal from the park. “We can understand this, because we have an obligation to listen to all our citizens, to determine what is offensive and not, especially in public places,” said Corsicana Mayor Don Denbow.

By declaring the gorilla statue racist and having it removed, they are in effect saying that gorillas represent black people.

The Pittsburg State Gorillas are not going to be happy about this

On the bright side at least some people are admitting they look like a gorilla.

So do black people believe they are gorillas or resemble gorillas? Because it's hard to be racially insensitive with an animal unless you believe you're an animal (which still doesn't make sense).

Harambe didn't die for this

To consider a gorilla statue to be racially insensitive is racially insensitive.

This country is heading for a civil war between stupidity and common sense.
This LINK says that some guy decided to sit in the cage which must have caused them to decide to put the Gorilla back.

On Wednesday, one man, Steven Lord, began sitting inside the cage, refusing to leave until the city promised to return the statue.

I wouldn't be surprised if this one backfires. I'm sure the intent is good but, damn!

Uh you're not very smart are you?
I'll give you a hint. That's an hour south of Dallas.

Good thing to do, yet they took action because:

I agree. I don't see any other way this ends differently. The other day I saw some SJW college professor on TV that's leading a charge to stop people from using the word "man" is common phrases like fireman.

How can anyone take the term racist seriously anymore? It carries no weight whatsoever due to the PC culture that is ruining this country.

Time to remove monkey exhibits from all Zoos. Because racism.
