BREC Superintendent stole all the ideas from Dr. Allen's research to improve the appeal of the Zoo and presents it as her own as ideas "minus" the Zoo. It's a shame, that's why she rushed to put this out in anticipation of Dr. Allen's report to the council. It's a shame the Business Report is so entangled with BREC that they defy all reasons regarding this matter. I wonder which of their business associates stand to gain from a Zoo move. Supt. McKnight will eventually lose her job along with Zoo Director, Phil Frost. She is a modern day "yesa masa" and eventually will be a scapegoat as they show her the door!!!

Ladies and gentlemen, this is Baton Rouge's elected leadership.

the shite she proposes would never happen. especially in Baker.

quote:

BREC Superintendent Carolyn McKnight is proposing to redevelop the sprawling, 660-acre Greenwood Park in north Baton Rouge—home to the Baton Rouge Zoo and two underutilized golf courses—into a state-of-the-art regional park with tournament-quality soccer fields, horse trails, a practice track, water park, amusement park, boat house and adventure playground, as well as more picnic areas and green spaces.

I would say Banks is representative of the district she was elected to.

She's possibly the dumbest person ever elected to the EBR Metro Council, and that says a lot.

Stupid, race baiting, white-hating crook. People like her are the epitome of why north BR is such a shite hole.

Soccer fields? Is soccer very popular among that demographic?

A boat house? I know there is a lake out there, but it isn't big enough for anything but canoes and kayaks. What would the boat house be used for?

I've lived in BR for 20 years, I am raising my family here and own several businesses.. I am for the first time questioning my future here as we continue to watch the spiral of idiotic race think take over the sensibilities of elected officials.. common sense and common good is now labeled racist.. the idea that we should turn the current location of the zoo into this mega complex is absurd.. the infrastructure needs alone would break the bank and the whole area is inconvenient to the vast majority of the parish

The boat house is probably for the downlow brothers in the area.

No city in America ever sold out to The Race Grievance Industry and prospered. It is going to be hard to watch Black Progressives and their SJW allies destroy whatever semblance of civic virtue remains.

Sorry, but moving the zoo is nothing but a colossal waste of money

They better not take away dumas 25$ a round and a good practice course. Wouldn't take anyone there because it's terrible but when I want to work some things out solo it's fine. I wouldn't say it's underutilized either always has people on the course.

But yeah let's throw money at a state of the art park when the state is broke as crap.

I have some friends in BR who have begun to look for jobs elsewhere. With summer here, it will be a good time to put houses on the market. I think you'll begin to see an increase in the number of whites leaving the city as they realize how bad things are likely to get under Broome.

Hell, I'm only here for my family's company. But we bought out another company in Tennessee a few years back.

I'm thinking a move in our primary office may be in need in the next 10-15 years. frick this town.
