Is it just me or has anyone else developed a disdain for weathermen after the last week? How freakin' hard is it to predict weather? Last week was predicted snow, yet just ice. Today, he laughs at thought of winter precip. Are they held accountable at all for their "expert" opinions? I wonder if someone keeps stats as to what percentage they were right or wrong everyday? I would love to see who the most accurate forecasters are.

I don't listen to the local weathermen. I check out the weather to the west and go by that.

Winter weather in the south is harder to predict than tropical systems. I can't really explain it in a way that's non - scientific so you'll just have to take my word for it.

These TV weathermen don't need to be making such definitive statements about a source being completely wrong if the uncertainty in winter weather is so great
