Right. Her ex husband and her adopted the girl WHILE they were married. Later on they got a divorce. I know the ex husband and his family.

I don't know about adopted children, but she had one adopted child

With them both having the same charges would there be any reason that the State would make his bail 3 times higher than hers?

This is pretty typical in investigations that involve officers within a department. When the FBI raided TPSO and Hammond PD with the corrupt undercover drug officer they didn't give them any warning whatsoever.

Several years ago we had a neighbor who worked as a CASA child advocate and she convinced my wife to take those classes and get involved. She later told me that the most heartbreaking thing was how many teenaged girls are returned to the state by foster parents because they just won't stop making advances toward one or both of the foster parents. Maybe you would try at first to get her to see that it was inappropriate and there was a place in your home with no such strings attached but if the behavior continued. . . Just how far can you risk your own family? Sending a child back like that would be crushing for everyone involved, especially the little girl but what else can you do? (It was eventually agreed by all that my wife did not have the proper temperment, she can be quite the vengeful little hell-spawn.)
