I think it is safe to say they are going to have a change of venue for the trial.

maybe dumb enough to think he'd get some preferential treatment based on his position or that he'd covered enough of the paper trail with the phone toss?

If there's even a trial in the first place. More likely we'll see a plea deal.
I doubt that the AG's office makes a move on one of the top cops and his wife in a bedroom community of Baton Rouge without an airtight case.

he has to know better than that. tossing the phone was probably just reaction. may have been to avoid cp charges in sabine parish on top of the LP stuff. that guy knows if they come to arrest you on those charges, they have all the evidence they need already

I haven't seen it reported, but someone posted that their GF is friends with someone in LPSO that claimed the house was wired with cameras and it was the adopted kids.
