Overland Park is really nice.

A Kansas couple moved to Louisiana to be near their daughter as they moved toward old age. They stayed here about six months and moved back to Kansas.

I drive cross country twice a year to and from Florida and Montana. Given the choice of driving I70 across Kansas or I80 across Nebraska, I would choose I80 all day, every day.

I only lived in Liberal for 30 some years. Can tell you everything about the place. It was very good years ago for families and careers. The great white flight occurred and it is a pos now.

Yeah more fatties in the South by far, the women are better looking though. I’ll take southern girls just don’t date a fat one.

There was in the 60's to 80's. Oil and gas was huge, we also had aircraft, agriculture. Let's of millionaires in overalls.

The only thing I remember about Liberal is a printing press, an Applebee's near a nursing school, a Buckle store, and the Wizard of Oz Museum.

My son was stationed in Wichita for a few years and we enjoyed our visits. Seemed to be a decent place to raise a family. There’s not much to do as far as tourism, although they have a great aviation museum. Kansas does have some rolling hills, not all of it is flat. It’s like anywhere else-you’ll be happy if you make the best of it.

Exactly how I’ve viewed my time hear so far.
And seems to be the sentiments of those who have spent any real time here (in Wichita anyway).

Well, Wichita was nice enough to take the Baby Cakes off of New Orleans' hands.
