It’s probably ready to head out, have a cold beer, and sit in a recliner while it’s wife nags

I ordered a Frank T-shirt today. Not sure why, but I couldn't help it.

Man must have stepped it up he was behind around 500 at one point.

The intern would get behind when he took breaks, then catch up when he went back to work.
ETA I just realized why I bought the Frank shirt, deep down I thought it might buy me some sympathy when they take over.

If your paid to flip packages over and slide them 2 feet you deserve to lose your job.

I watched it take about 10 seconds to get a box with the label down and then flip a package completely off the side of the conveyor. This million dollar piece of equipment isn’t replacing an illegal Rosita anytime soon.
Factor in that it works 24 hours a day seven days a week doesn’t ask for time off and zero healthcare coverage and retirement. Yea unskilled workers are screwed.

I think it goes a lot farther than that.

My sister in law is a surgeon I told her the other day she is about to be replaced and she laughed and said no robot is replacing her. I pointed out to her that a robot is already doing her surgeries with her controlling the input. They really don’t need her controlling the input much longer.

My wife is a CT surgeon, and everything she does is open, but interventional cardiologists have started doing a lot of cases she would have done and doing them laparoscopically, often using a da Vinci. Those cardiologists are just one step away from being replaced. A lot of my wife's friends who are interventional cardiologists are retiring from cath lab work fairly young due to radiation exposure; robots don't really care about radiation as long as their processors are shielded well enough. Doing open surgery gives my wife a little more time, but she is just two steps away.
I used to think most jobs were safe, I am beginning to think no jobs are safe. It could be a flying car prediction though...

It will have to be charged.

These have been running ~3 hour shifts, when they get low on battery they signal to the other robots and their relief walks over and switches with them.
