Bear just got him one... killed it and let it float. I guess he's saving that snack for later.

I love it. Ol' Boy closest to the camera is just taking 2 bites then letting them float away, meanwhile his friend on the far side isn't wasting an ounce.

Watched a documentary last night that said they could eat over 100,000 calories a day... crazy.

Also, 49th state brewery keeps this on at the bar. Pretty awesome.

This bear in the middle of the river is lazy. They're all around him, but he won't move an inch.

Yeah the one on the bank has a method of skinning them first then eating the rest. The other one just DGAF, takes a bite and waits for another one

The one in the middle looks like me eating fried chicken. Just pulls the skin off and lets the rest float away

This is pretty cool, I've never seen it before. I like how the bear can just stand there and the Salmon who didn't make the jump wash right by them. Like a fish conveyor.

This bear in the front is ripping the skin off taking a couple bites and moving to the next one. Is that common behavior?

How long does this take place at these falls?

There's a bunch of fish that dont even get close to making that jump. I guess they just keep trying?

We had a thread on this last year. I could watch for hours. Sometimes there’ll be dozens out there at once.

Wish I could get out there with a net and just scoop them up. Love Salmon.
