So, a lack of money is going to force BR to invest in the local music scene? Oh the horror. I wish it would somehow cause them to make their sets contain at least 50% original music.

St George already has its own version called "Rock n Rowe" at Perkins Rowe.

Oh darn, the formally unincorporated citizens no longer have to pay for for concerts most weren’t going to anyway

Well, maybe not elect people who run the city into the ground and force people to break away just to have a chance at a better life?

Incorrect, she was on the board that encouraged it while she taunted the citizens by basically laughing in their faces while wasting their tax money.

Plenty of grumpy old fricks that have never been to LA5 in the first place. They've never had killer bands, but its still nice to get out, dig your feet into some grass, crack open a beer and enjoy a free live music.

There already isn't a ton of stuff to do in BR, why shite on what we've got?

Live After Five’s previous managing director Luke Lognion stepped down in February. At the time, he told Daily Report that he was ending his contract with the concert series over creative differences.

I don't know Luke Lognion, but the new guy, J. Hover, looks more like a music concert/festival dude.

Replaced by J. Hover in February

Hover has organized hundreds of live music events in Baton Rouge over the years, including Federales Fest, an annual festival aimed at celebrating Southern music.

Exactly, she was part of a board of other people. The original poster said the existence of St George is entirely Broome's fault. There were other board members, no?

Like what? Please explain what I've been wrong about.

Bingo! These posters can never be happy about anything in Baton Rouge. It's far from perfect, but it's not hell.

John Delgado was a big part of it.

Oh, you mean you don't like the musical stylings of Press 1 For English as they cover "Play That Funky Music White Boy", sung by a pair of suburban white Daddy's Little Princesses?
