I tried to get rid of a bunch of quarters to get them back in circulation and help solve the U.S. coin shortage, but every time I pull out my stack of coins, some Good Samaritan thinks I'm poor and pays for me.

Had a guy with two kids in front of me in line. I motioned for him to go ahead. He smiled and insisted I was first though I clearly wasn't. I paid for his kids skittles.

Holding a door open for someone. Paying it forward at a fast food restaurant. Giving the garbage men a cold drink.

Paying for a person(s) meal at a restaurant without them knowing. Could be someone you know or maybe not know.

I was at a gun show a few months back and some idiot not only dropped these all over the floor, but set them on people’s display tables. PITA when you’re trying to conduct business and catch one of these out of the corner of your eye.

Giving up my seat in a crowded bus or train to a woman or older man
Greeting everyone I encounter with "how you doing?"
Opening doors for ladies and old folks
Donating to charitable causes

Put your shopping cart back and hold the door open for someone.

When I’m approached by a beggar anywhere, I immediately cut them off with “I don’t have any money”. While this doesn’t seem like a kindness, it is. I could have let them go on and on with their bullshite story about their mom being in the hospital and needing gas/bus/taxi money, and then after they go through all that say “I don’t have any money”.

Long story but I'll keep it short. Returning an elderly lady's wallet I found on an aisle in WalMarks.
