One would think if you were going to listen to music at work you'd bring headphones....nope not this co-worker. Blares his Hinder and Buckcherry for everyone to hear. I don't listen to music at work but I may start, first playlist "nickleback throwback". Anyone else work with "that guy"?

2 seconds.
That's how long it would take me to walk over and football spike his music playing device.

So stop bitching about it on a message board, man up, and tell him to put in headphones or turn it off.

I currently have CCR Greatest Hits on shuffle.
If you don't want to listen to it, put in your own damn headphones.

Start an office war & start blaring lil Boosie from your work area.

I play music in my office... fairly softly though, you can barely hear it walking by the door.
I would never do that in a cubicle/open office situation.

our office does not allow headphones. They said you cant hear phones ring, pages, people talking to you, and seem like you are trying to avoid people

That's my goal everyday at work.

"Hey, guy, would you mind turning your early 2000s music down?"

I was told I could listen to the radio at a reasonable volume

I wear my headphones all the time at the office. I'm not necessarily listening to anything but its a good deterrent against people trying to talk to me about their kids or grand kids.
