Louisiana favorites in BR

What are some other Louisiana favorites you wish would open BR location?

For me, I’d say Fezzos in Scott/Broussard would be an excellent addition to the Baton Rouge food scene. A few others from the Lafayette area are Meche’s Donuts, Billy’s Boudin and Don’s Specialty Meats (not seafood obviously)

Chuy’s. Lafayette has a location. It’s not Lafayette locally owned but BR needs one. Maybe down Burbank where the new Rouses is going, their happy hour would print money.

New Orleans actually sort of does, though.

False. BR needs more cheap Tex mex choices. The few they have are so awful. Lava Cantina was straight up the worst I’ve ever had.

It’s just cheap food and a place to have drinks.
