But what about NBR? You better not let Mayor Broome or Gravy see this racist arse list.

I would love to open a business in North Baton Rouge? Why? Because the rent would be dirt cheap.

However, I also value my life, my customer's life and know that it is not economically viable to open and sustain a business in a crime infested area that doesn't have the disposable income to help support a business and their success.

For the most part, I agree. But there are some areas of Baton Rouge (and I am sure New Orleans) that have plenty of disposable income.

Country Club of Louisiana
Oak Hills
Santa Maria
Bocage
Manchac Plantation
Woodridge

just to name a few.

TopGolf doesnt market themselves to golfers
its corporate outings ( which neither BR nor NOLA have enough of) after that its kids parties, office parties, birthdays, dates, group outings
its people who can and want to waste money

is the food, the drink that bring in the $$

It will be interesting to see how they do on Jefferson Highway. I've driven by their place and they have done some substantial modifications and/or improvements to the old bank building.

I wish them well.

Outside investments

Morgan Clare is a woman's boutique that is owned and operated by a woman here in Lafayette. Not a chain. Didn't know she was opening a location in BR. I'll have to fact check that....

You need to tell the mayor's dumbass, her idiot followers and the NBR revitalization committee what you just typed.

I wouldn't consider Lafayette "outside " money

you need international investments to be a player

They just opened this place in Peoria, AZ called Modern Round. Looks like they are opening other locations in Dallas, San Antonio, and Vegas.

It's a virtual shooting lounge. Like a Top Golf but with guns. You rent a bay and get a briefcase full of guns. You and your friends get to pick different simulations you can run through (zombies, etc) that you shoot at. And can order food/drink brought to your bay. We haven't been yet but it looks cool. Interesting concept.

quote:

Modern Round is an exhilarating and empowering new entertainment concept for the adrenaline seeker in all of us. It’s part virtual shooting range meets part upscale lounge. You’ll experience state-of-the-art technology that feels as real as shooting a live gun. But instead of using live ammo, you’ll be at the center of a simulated world where you’re placed right into the action.

Gunslingers, zombie slayers, first-time shooters and expert marksmen will all find opportunities to get together and build their shooting and social skills. Modern Round is designed to be the perfect place that goes beyond the expected night out. It’s the modern way to come together and get out of the ordinary

And, we can just increase premiums and penalties for people's healthcare to make up for our broke, fatasses.

Yea, I almost included a comment about that not really being big outside money, but outside investment nonetheless.

My woman is not fat

Also, all the Mexicans that work the fast food places here are always super friendly and polite to you.

Really...all the fast food workers here in general are friendly and polite.
