Despite what you may think, I think the virus response is shortsighted and over-the-top. I just dislike combating that using relatively useless facts. Nothing more, nothing less.

nice anecdotal story? I’m sure that comforts the millions unemployed, millions who will lose a loved one to suicide or drug overdose, etc, etc

I have to wear a mask in the grocery store and at work. Nothing major has changed.
Took some time to get acclimated to wearing the mask, but it's not a hindrance in any way now.

Unfortunately thinking like this explains how louisiana is in the shape it’s in. The average louisiana voter likely holds a below average iq and lacks the ability to think rationally. These observations explain perfectly how the state consistently elects incompetent leaders like both of the Edwards.

I hope you see now why I dislike things like the lightning quip.
You will often get caught in this sideshow argument that distracts from the main point. Same with those who argue there have been ZERO transmissions from students to teachers worldwide - that argument is almost certainly going to blow up the moment schools open under a microscope in the US, and then what?
